We feel you should have the opportunity to buy and sell your glass artwork at a reasonable price without high commissions and fees. So we built a trader area for you that makes it easy and safe to buy & sell your art glass.
Q. What is different about the Trader Area?
A. There are a couple of important advantages to our Trader area. First of all, we not only allow members to BUY pieces from the trader area, but also encourage members to SELL pieces in the trader area. For this service, the club charges a modest 10% commission on pieces sold through the trader area. Nobody else offers this service.
In addition to the option to sell your items in the trader area, we also have a “bonus” program designed to help you build your collection, while saving money in the process. Several of the pieces available in our trader area feature a “Bonus” logo. What this logo means is that if you buy the piece, you will get a point for every $10 of the purchase price. For example, on a piece that sells for $1,000 you will receive 100 points. Each point is worth $1 towards future purchases of items marked with the “Bonus” logo. This offer ONLY applies to items marked with the “Bonus” logo.
Q. How do I buy a piece from the Trader Area?
A. Buying a piece from our trader area is a simple process. From the trader page with multiple photos of the piece, simply click on the “Buy now” button to send us an e-mail stating that you are interested in purchasing that specific piece. If you have further questions about a particular piece, simply click on the “Questions” button to submit questions to us about the piece. After a selling price is agreed upon by you and the seller, you will send payment to the club. After we receive payment and it clears, we will ship the piece or pieces to you. After you inspect and approve of the piece, payment will be sent to the seller. It is as simple as that!
Q. What if I want to sell a piece or an entire collection?
A. If you have a piece or even an entire collection that you wish to sell, simply contact us at trader@glassclubs.com and we will walk you through the requirements for photos and description. The asking price is entirely up to you to set. The piece or pieces will then be added to the club’s trader area. When a selling price is agreed upon by buyer and seller, the buyer will send the payment to the club. After the payment clears, we will instruct the seller to ship the piece to the buyer. When the buyer receives and approves the piece, payment will be sent from the club to the seller, minus the modest 10% commission that the club charges for this service. This is the safest and fairest system for all involved – both the buyer and the seller are protected throughout the entire process.
